AVENIDA FRANCISCO GLICÉRIO - CENTRO DA CIDADE DE CAMPINAS - FEIÚRA URBANA!

FRANCISCO GLICÉRIO AVENUE - DOWNTOWN CAMPINAS - URBAN UGLINESS!

The day before yesterday, once more, I took my camera with me to work and when going back home, again, I took some more pictures of downtown Campinas. Here I was walking along the FRANCISCO GLICÉRIO AVENUE and took this picture to present to the world the most important downtown avenue in the city where I live!

These summer days have been rainy and cloudy. I like it though, because we're having lower temperatures!

Unfortunately, downtown Campinas is getting uglier and uglier because of visual pollution, decaying buildings etc., as a result, for example, of bad administrations, among other reasons!

CAMPINAS is a big city, 96km northwest of the city of SÃO PAULO and part of one of the largest metropolitan areas in the state of São Paulo and in Brazil. It had 1,088,611 estimated inhabitants in 2011, being the third most populated city in the State of São Paulo and the fourteenth most populated city in Brazil.

An interesting social report, but this city is not unique < I know a lot of places with similar problems. Good illustration of a daily life.

a glimpse of everyday life that is a wonderful insight as to how people go about their busy lives. I can see perfectly here what you mean in your notes. Nevertheless it is a shot with impact and a certain fascination.

A lovely snapshot, with the couple middle of the street.
This is a nice summery picture, in Belgium get we strong winter with snow and frost
You create nice depth and perspective..
