After a break because of all the end of the year's celebrations, first day back to work! I decided to take my camera with me, because the sun is going away later (as we are in summertime) and I could take some pictures while going back home! And so I did.

Unfortunately, downtown Campinas is getting uglier and uglier because of visual pollution, decaying buildings etc., as a result, for example, of bad administrations, among other reasons!

CAMPINAS is a big city, 96km northwest of the city of SÃO PAULO and part of one of the largest metropolitan areas in the state of São Paulo and in Brazil. It had 1,088,611 estimated inhabitants in 2011, being the third most populated city in the State of São Paulo and the fourteenth most populated city in Brazil.

In this picture, I was right in my bus stop, anxiously waiting for the bus to pass for me to go home! Looking up I saw all those wires, the street lamp and some details of buildings located in the border of downtown and the CAMBUÍ district.
Yes, I go to work by bus (most of the time in the last ten years) - I live close to downtown though. No, the buses are not great in the city. No, the city has no plans for other mass means of transportation. A shame!

Hi Neyvan

Good graphism and here the power-lines & wires add to the effect. I like the street light arching over the building and framing it nicely. Superb sharpness & the stark sunlight has illuminated the facade of the bg building well to enhance the graphism against the dark bg clouds. Tfs!

Bonjour Neyvan ,
Puet être que la vue n'est pas très pittoresque , mais j'aime ce cliché , pour les contrastes entre les fils noirs , les façades blanches et le cile d'orage . Ainsi que pour le graphisme et l'excellent cadrage .

a graphically composed shot this and one that emphasises your theme in this series succinctly. The lines and light here against the darkened skies is so powerful at expressing your motive in this compelling series of urban images.

I have the strong impression of a sideways powerful lighting towards buildings from the street light!!
Bold contrast before Zeus starts throwing lightnings that might stay prisoner in tramcar spider web, as they often do when the upper "hot wheel" gets off wire!

The mesh of wirs running across the street is a nuisance for photographers. The white building against the dark moody sky stands out & creates a nice impression. Well done!

An excellent city scape in great details with the high contrast building is strategically placed in the compo. Light is beautiful in rich colors with the elements on the left frame provide a nicely balance. Indeed an eyecatching shot and you have capitalised the available components efficiently. Wonderful photo so well taken, Congrats.

a fiação atrapalha a fotografia em nossas cidades, mas aqui vc deu um jeito de usá-la na composição, adicionando um toque de grafismo. gostei da luz que ilumina as fachadas. bem feito.
