CHUVA E SOL!
RAIN AND SUN!

Summer in southeastern, southern and center-western Brazil means lots of hot weather (and this year has been specially hot, with temperatures ranging from 28ºC to 47ºC, depending on the place - fortunately not here in Campinas) and also lots of rain. There are some periods when rain falls almost everyday all day long, but it's also usual to have late afternoon storms! That was what happened today and I decided to take some pictures from one of the windows of my apartment. Lots of thunder, lightenings, wind... but it was fast and the sun insisted on being there too!

In this picture, a wider view of the same place, when the rain was almost over and the sun was back again at the same time!

Hello Ney,
The strange and lovely sky makes a fine backcloth for the tower like structure. The rooftops partially in shadow make an interesting and useful set of lead-lines. The soft light and muted tones evoke a particular atmosphere.

sunshine after the rain and a capture that brings that atmosphere to life. Nicely executed and full of glistening textures and lights. Could do with some of your sunshine here in the UK - really gloomy!

Superbe POV sur les toits rouges et le building au centre, j'aime le rendu des couleurs , la texture rendue des toits, malgré le peu de lumière, chez moi en Belgique il pleut très très souvent!!

Hello Neyvan,

A very engaging shot, where the wet, red roofs, showing excellent textures, fit together like a huge jigsaw, and the skyscraper pierces them like a huge eruption.
I wonder how you would feel about cropping a little of the sky. For me, it would have greater impact as a panorama.
