SUMMER RAIN!

Summer in southeastern, southern and center-western Brazil means lots of hot weather (and this year has been specially hot, with temperatures ranging from 28ºC to 47ºC, depending on the place - fortunately not here in Campinas) and also lots of rain. There are some periods when rain falls almost everyday all day long, but it's also usual to have late afternoon storms! That was what happened today and I decided to take some pictures from one of the windows of my apartment. Lots of thunder, lightenings, wind... but it was fast and the sun insisted on being there too!

Oi Ney,
O contraste dos telhados vermelhos com a luz superior resultou numa bela composição. É bom fugir da rotina e poder registrar com liberdade momentos como este.Muito boa foto.

creio que em sp seja mais comum ver chuvas de verão, aqui em casa acontece, mas não é um evento corriqueiro, por vezes faz um calor infernal e não chove durante dias.
gostei do efeito visual conseguido, temos mesmo a impressão do temporal desabando com seu movimento.
PS: quando ao anu-preto. creio que vc já o tenha visto, é um pássaro muito comum em pastagens, é desajeitado, tem um longo rabo preto e perde facilmente o equilíbrio ao pousar em algum galho, seu canto é um lamento.
