Bored nuns after strolling around at the Basilic of Our Lady Conception Aparecida (here depicted by Paulo), a group of bored nuns take their breath for a while in the annex building, a kind of "shopping center of faith", full of stores selling all sorts of items to feed people´s faith.
The ladies are drinking guaraná, the national soft drink of Brasil and in the WS the original scene and the explanation why I did what I did.
Carmen has also a beautiful series of the place.
thanks for stopping by.

Two points of interest yes but what a second point of interest in contrast to the first - there is for sure another picture there - this one is also very nice - a good conversion to B&W although a little dark on the figurte on the right - extraordinary amount of mirroring going on between them except for the one talking - perhaps all living together has made them even more related in reaction to things.
best wishes Kev

Very interesting moment you caught here, with those nuns who, yes, seem to be bored. What is interesting is how everyone of them has one hand on her mouth, except the one who is obviously talking. I approve of your choice for the conversion in black & white, the colors being a little boring. I tend to agree with Kev about two possible photos here. Your original is also interesting, exactly for the reason you decided to crop: the juxtaposition of two different moods.

Boa escolha do tom P&B!

Amazing work, Isabel.
Your choice of BW rather than color seems to be the perfect one.
The whiter shade of pale of those uniforms were screaming loudly for such treatment.
A bit too dark IMHO (unless my monitor is screwed up again?).
The 'other' photo...
Interesting combination to get them together, yet...Wouldn't be there too many raisins in this cake...?
Therefore - another choice of yours - to separate them - seems to be OK as well.
All the best for you, dear gal

Hi Isabelle, not had much of a chance to look recently. Funny idea, they certainly don't look very animated by the experience. The one at the back seems to have clocked what you're doing:-)

Great shot, Isabel!
Daily life, nothing something special, but it's the most interesting.
I like B&W and some old-style.

eu gosto muito dissa captura - I like the way nobody in the photo is looking at the same person, which creates a lot of dynamic to the stillness of the shot. Parabens,
