Photographer's Note

The former city market of Paraty, late in the afternoon.
the city of Paraty is like a small museum within a tropical paradise. Its colonial buildings recall the time when it was a major gold shipping port in the XVI century. It is regarded by UNESCO as the most harmonious ensemble of colonial buildings in Brazil. Their rusticity, if compared to the colonial architecture of other towns in Brazil, perfectly matches its location on the beach and makes for a very charming and unique ambience. If there weren´t the traffic sign and the power posts... we couldn´t imagine when the photo was taken..

More information abou Paraty can be found here.
Retouched with dodge tool. A color balance layer was added, to get warmer tones.

All critiques are welcome!!
