Rocinha is the world's largest Favella. There's a morbid beauty to this place when seen from afar that disguises the hardship within. The vast majority of Rio's inhabitants live in towns perched on the hillside like this. Ironically, they have the very best views of this unique and magnificent city

Now we can see how big the favelas are and imagine how many people live in such a place.
I think that a picture from this place but at dusk, with the street lights on, would also do a nice one, as a comparision to this one.

It's interesting to see some "favela" it's not like my imagination see that...
The shot: I think you must crop two millimeters on the left, there is some building(?), and I find that you lose some sharpness in the middel and the top of the view, perhaps the resize for the web, or maybe you worked in raw,...

Very interesting picture. Even though it's not of the best quality it does show this other side of Rio very well. Well done! I even like the lampposts at the bottom of the pic, however, that glimpse of the building on the very left should be cut-off, I think. That's why I made you this little workshop, you can check it out just to see if you like it or not.

Wow, houses looks like bits and pieces scattered around. Very well composed one Andrew. Colors are great.
