Hi Paulo,
So this is the famous Copacabana ...what a crowded beach ... I suppose they all want a good tan. I like the shoreline curve full of people... very interesting. You've captured the mood of the crowd well in this photo. Excellent!

We hear such a lot about Copacabana but I must say it looks very crowded and not the kind of place where I would want to spend a lot of time.
You have chosen a very good POV to show the beach and your choice to include the foreground umbrellas is a good one. It gives the image depth and lots of colour. I'm guessing from the pink clouds this is near the end of the day when the light is not so harsh.
Did you realise this was your #200? Congratulations!

felicidades, hoy presentas tu foto 200! Gran trabajo para celebrar este evento, tu foto tiene una alegría, un ambiente de fiesta y un dinamismo extraordinarios. Todo el mundo conoce esta magnífica playa, y a muchos nos gustaría poder estar allí ahora mismo, pero con estas fotos nos invitas a soñar.
El skyline de la ciudad frente a la playa es impresionante y tiene un gran grafismo gracias a esa moderna arquitectura.

Ontem já tivemos temperaturas agradaveis, 23 graus até ja havia gente na praia a apanhar sol, mas nada como no Brasil.

Ola parabens pela 200 foto!!!
A praia de Copacabana parece com as praias aqui onde eu moro de verão ficam assim cheias como eu digo divisão por metro quadrado. Eu nao gosto nao se pode fazer nada !!!
Ficou bonita a foto bem colorida com os chapeus de sol a cor da agua , gostei da mata atlantica ao fundo

Beleza de imagem da praia de copacabana, mas apesar de achar bonita num fico nem 5min num apria dessas, é gente demais, crinça demais, vendedores enchendo o saco e muito barulho! Prefiro lugares mais sossegados!

Hi, Paulo. A very colourful foreground which offers good contrast with the buildings in the background. The buildings form a good diagonal line and the beach a nice curve. Your picture allows us to see how crowded the beach is.

At any time I will trade our very cold freezing water of our little sand beach in winter time against your hot water unpolluted beach.

è engraçado ver essa linha de edíficios a circundarem a praia e depois o monte por trás.

Grande agitação que vai na praia, mas cria sem duvida um belo colorido especialmente pela inclusão de tos estes para-sois.
Gosto ainda de ver todas as pessoas a banhos no mar, a curva que a baia faz até nos levar à linha de prédios que ladeiam a baía e finalmente os montes ao fundo que quebram a 'selva de pedra'.

Awesome real capture again. I don't like beaches though. Our beaches that is. Cold stinking water here in the Netherlands. The sand is rough and the people are too white and fat. I have a runners body so that is not suitable for beaches either. (:

Essa foto é uma das minhas preferidas, pois joga uma enormidade de cores no primeiro plano e um paredão meio sem cor (isso é a crônica de Copacabana) como fundo.

Olá Paulo, já agora venho a esta também ;-) Que sensação de selva urbana incrível! Não só pela quantidade de pessoas, mas também dos arranhacéus ao longo de toda a praia. É difícil imaginar isto na altura dos descobrimentos, completamente virgem...No fundo, também há algumas semelhanças com o time square em NYC...está é tudo pelado :-)

You definitely should have taken the shot from a lower point, about like from the bikini line:) You,Brazilian photographers owe that to us, from the rest of the world...

Copacabana is always heard and not seen. so now I know how it looks like during this season. Very crowded with people. You depict the situation well with the peoples activities. It is interesting to note that you put the element of balancing well. the tall building between the meeting of two mountains at the background. The impact is that it is beautiful

ficou legal a barreira de edifícios e morros em cima e a muralha humana em baixo e o mar no centro. gostei da luz e das cores. francamente, não é legal tomar banho num lugar com tanta gente, prefiro uma boa praia deserta. hahaha
