Located inside the Botanical Garden, this old house was house of the Botanical Garden Directors José Menezes and Pacheco Leão.
Built in the late nineteenth century, in eclectic style, inspired by Normandy style. Its first occupant was José Félix da Cunha Menezes, director of the Botanical Garden (1910-1911).
Then Antonio Pacheco Leão doctor and teacher, director of the Botanic Garden, who lived in it from 1915 to 1931, when he died.

This is very nice house between the green vegetation and trees.
I like the wood constructions of the handrails of the balconies.
I like these picture through the diversity of the colours and composition wonderful.
You play excellent with light and shade.

Nice house indeed, I love the wood work on the outside and the tones of green throughout the scene, fitting for a man of a botanical nature! Nice place to shoot from too, the upward point of view is very apt for the house.
