Here one of the places I most like to visit and take photos at Rio de Janeiro. The Imperial Palm Pathway at the Botanical Garden.
Most of these imperial palms were planted when the garden was created and have 100 years. Is like to be between giants of the nature.
For a better view of this palms take a look here: The Imperal Palms

i had felt the same "walking between giants" feeling in a palm park in fes, morocco. lightiwise, a difficult photo with strong contrasts of dark and bright, but you managed it well. diagonal shades on the ground add strong graphism, and the figures were of course essential to emphasize the gigantic size of the trees.
