A nice composition from a different angle than most presentation of the statue of Christ, the King of the world. I guess, the air condition was not at its best, still the shot brings a lot of meaning to those who understand the spiritual power of faith. Thanks for sharing !

It is indeed a different and unusual viewpoint on this iconic statue that can be seen in all its splendour despite the hazy atmosphere. Good use of the fresh green tones of the branches as a frame.

Whenever I look on the big statue in Rio, i think to myself how this was built? must had been a work of many hands, carry stuff high on the steep mountain in hard labor.
the outcome is a magnificent monument, symbol of Rio, and Brasil. Impressive from any angel.

el efecto del Cristo Redentor que aparece entre las ramas tan verdes del árbol y la leve neblina, es fantástico, y crea una imagen atractiva y potente, con un magnífico contraste gráfico.
Es una foto con un encuadre bien escogido, bien pensada y perfectamente realizada.

hai colto una immagine delicata e piacevole di Rio fuori dai consueti canoni.
Bene hai fatto a riprendere gli alberi lasciando che il Cristo restasse sfumato evitando di ripetere la solita foto, vista e rivista del Cristo bianco e abbagliante sopra la collina.
Un'idea fuori dai canoni che a mio parere hai saputo interpretare molto bene.
Belli anche i toni molto delicati del fogliame

Hi Fabiano
The famous landmark and icon domintaing the skyline of Rio. Love this really powerful image, good colours and detail and nicely composed I do feel shot like this often requires some contrast to lift the image. The main interest is well presented but not in sharp focus while details of green foreground pulls my eye so strongly to it, allowing a somewhat uneasy exploration of the rest of the shot. I have a feeling that your focus is on the foliage and not on main subject. These are my sincere neg commments, nevertheless, its a nice enough result. Congrats

i have never been to Rio but i just know that i am gonna to love Rio when i take my first steps there:D This famous landmark is one of many attractions i want to see. I like your nice composition here using the tree branches as a frame and Christ to the left from center of the picture.Tfs!

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone, so it's interesting and impressive to see the Big Christ standing on rock in Rio de Janeiro. It's harmonized well with green leaf in this side, too.

Bien pensé de nous montrer le Christ sous un nouvel angle et dans la brume. J'ai vu une réplique en République Dominicaine sur le mont Isabela de Tores mais beaucoup moins haute. Bonne composition et j'aime bien la végétation qui encadre le Christ. Beaux tons de vert.
