Here the main altar of the Cathedral of Petropolis. The altar is simple but verry pretty. It have two angels on each side of the cross.
The central cross, made of black granite, crown the patinated bronze, onyx and marble Chiampo Pearl altar. There is where the relics of three Martyrs - Saint Tecla, San Magno and Saint Aurelia - brought to Rome by Cardinal D. Sebastião Leme are placed.
Over the altar, there are the inscription "Et In Terra Pax" (Peace on Earth).
A closer view of the main altar you can see in the workshop photo.

The cross is particularly beautiful. Simple, but very beautiful. The two angels make a great addition to the whole scene, so there is always somebody praying here, even if not visitors to the church. Very nicely done on the light in this which looks quite dark, but it came out perfectly.
All the best

you have approached the limits of excellence in terms of exposure control in interior photos. every detail is visible, even the dark corners, plus no overexposure on stained glass windows. the vertical compo is also marvellous. the white balance was tricky, you also managed it very well. compliments, andre.

Wow! What a great interior capture of this spectacular cathedral! I can feel a special mood of this moment -- absolutely superb image! Perfectly seen and executed scene with a very good exposure and sharpness even the conditions inside were not easy. Bravo!
