THE SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER, NEARBY ITS SOURCE, AT THE TOP OF THE CANASTRA MOUNTAIN RANGE, JUST ABOUT TO FALL DOWN IN THE CASCA D'ANTA WATERFALL !

Giving a break on my CAMPINAS series, I decided to post this picture for this special occasion because those natural elements and their beauty make me feel a bit better during my stressing daily routine (work, cars, pollution, concrete etc.)!

"The region of the Canastra Mountain Range has over 200 thousand hectares and comprehends 6 municipalities:

São Roque de Minas,
Vargem Bonita,
Delfinópolis,
Sacramento,
São João Batista do Glória and
Capitólio.

The biggest attraction is the Serra da Canastra National Park, created in 1972 to protect the springs of the São Francisco River and which has the main entrance 8 km from São Roque de Minas.

Inside the National Park there are some of the most beautiful postcards of Brazil, as the Casca D'Anta waterfall, with almost 200 meters, the first great fall of the São Francisco River."

certamente un bel viaggio il tuo se ti ha permesso di ammirare località come questa.
Molto bello il contrasto tra la terra dai colori tendenti al bruno, gli alberi ricchi di verde ed il cielo che non soddisfatto di splendere in alto si specchia anche nelle acqua.
Di buon livello sia la composizione che i colori e la nitidezza.

Hello Neyvan,
I love yopur landscape for its simplicity and elegant composition. Very good POV to take photo at this angle and give this extra depth by including the river's curve. Very nice colors and light, well given sharpness.

The small canal of water reflects the sky & offers a fine contrast with the neighboring green. I like the play of cloud shadows with the lit up parts of the rolling fields. Beautiful & quiet...
