Photographer’s Note

Panoramic view of the Pampulha Lake, made of four stitched pictures.

To the right, the São Francisco de Assis Church (Pampulha Church), designed by the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. It was the last construction to be inaugurated of the Architectural Complex of Pampulha, in 1943, and is considered symbol of the city.

To the left, the Jornalista Felipe Drummond Stadium (Mineirinho), the biggest indoor sporting arena of the country, with capacity of 25 thousand people.

In the middle, the Governador Magalhães Pinto Stadium (Mineirão), the second biggest soccer stadium of Brazil, with capacity of 76 thousand people. It was inaugurated in 1965, and will start to be reformed in the next year to fulfill the requirements of FIFA and host games of the World Cup 2014.

A famosa lagoa bem nossa conhecida , gostei deste ponto de visão diferente com a igreja e os complexos desportivos ao fundo , ficou uma bonita foto deste lugar , gostei muito das cores e luz , boa definição , parabéns!!

linda vista deste símbolo de BH, muito bonita a foto, a igreja e as linhas dos estádios ficaram bem bonitas juntas, o detalhe da água e do ipê florido acrescentaram mais beleza ao conjunto, foto bem feita em todos os aspectos, parabéns. Lembrei-me do dia em que desci no zôo e ao invés de seguir margeando a lagoa pela direita fui pelo lado errado e gastei horas fazendo o percurso,passando por cada reentrância da lagoa, passando diante do cassino, diante do aeroporto, diante dos estádios e chegando à igreja quase ao anoitecer..

Belíssima imagem com ícones de BH, nessa colagem muitíssimo bem sucedida! O Ipê Roxo florido está dando um toque artístico à imagem. Os estádios parecem mais perto... a proporção entre eles e a igrejinha é essa mesmo?

Mineirinho, Mineirão, Lagoa da Pampulha e Igreja São Francisco, do Niemeyer, são para mim uma das maiores belezas de Belo Horizonte. Lindíssima panorâmica cheia de riquezas arquitetônicas, cores e nitidez. Realmente um belo trabalho. Parabéns!

Very nice panoramic in a format of image very well selected. The water give a good FG and a great prospect to the elements of modern architectur in the BG. Superb bleu sky with beautiful clouds well colected too.

belíssimo panorama. O trabalho de stitching está perfeito, não consigo ver as junções e diferenças de luminosidades, o que é muito comum nesse caso. A imagem nos traz uma vista ampla da Pampulha. Parabéns!

Your perfectly stitched pano presents this scene in beautiful detail. You framed both the natural beauty of the clouds and blooming tree and that of the architectural triumphs with excellent balance and harmony. The large version is well planned to avoid vertical scrolling.

Que beleza de panorama! Além do Mineirão, Mineirinho e a bela igreja da Pampulha, uma árvore toda florida de bônus. Você trabalhou muito bem este panorama, não se nota diferenças na cor ou distorção. Tenho descartado as minhas últimas tentativas, sempre defeituosas. A cor está excelente, ótima luz e nitidez.

I don't like modern churches (:-) but I do like this fine panoramic view. The stitching was good: no difference in exposure are visible.
It's a bright photo with a fine light and colours and highly descriptive of this interesting environment.

Wonderful panoramic looking over the lake to some beautiful architecture. I enjoyed looking at the larger version, and in particular I think the blossom tree is a pretty feature of the scene.

So your country is gearing for both the football world cup and Olympics in the next decade! A good pano format picture with flawless stitching and of course the LV is wonderful as it allows us to see a lot of details. The pink blossoms on the tree form a fine and beautiful focal point
