Photographer’s Note

After a short walk on the dunes, we reach a very pleasant beach, but the dunes are the main attraction. The Dunes of Itaúnas, between the 50's and the 70's, covered the small village of Itaúnas. Until some years ago, we could still see the crucifix of the church. The town was rebuilt and today receives many tourists, and the state park of Itaúnas was created in 1991.
