Photographer’s Note

Continuing my photos from Rio Novo, Es.
After climbing this hill with all the equipment, throwing oneself into the ground, letting the wind blow the heat away and contemplating the changing game of light the sky would render was a beauty... And indeed, I find this grass, sky and speckles of light so full of life. The woods to the right are a patch of Mata Atlântica, one of the most rich in biodiversity, although very scarce these days.
The impression of the photo being tilted is due to the pov, ascendant mountain line, and the curve of the hill.

Impressive landscape and beautiful colours - it looks almost like a green carpet that has been spread out over the hills! Like the clouds as well - it looks like they're almost moving over the hills.

estou começando a ficar com vergonha de postar minhas fotos, pelo menos até eu encontrar um tema como esses e fazer o ótimo trabalho que vemos aqui. A profundidade estabelecida por esse campo verde até os belos morros ao fundo está ótima; combinada a excelente nitidez imagem, passa-nos uma sensação de tridimensionalismo agradável. Beleza de imagem!

Olá Victor,
vejo que conseguiu uma captura bem equilibrada aqui, mesmo com esse forte contraste de luzes e sombras, que sacrificam nossas imagens devido a baixa DR dos sensores... Uma paisagem bonita mesmo, até na imagem, do pouco que sobrou da Mata Atlântica. Parece até as montanhas de Minas essa imagem.
P.S. No dia 7 de junho estamos combinando de subri o pico da bandeira pelo lado do ES, o Paulo ja animou, topa também, programa de um simples final de semana mesmo, combiando com a época da lua cheia.

Hi Victor,

A great play with light and shadow and browsing through your gallery i saw more of these crisp and bright beauties. You really have a good eye for editing your images and the colour balance inside of them. Here the different patches of green and the overal composition makes this on really stand out from the flood of images today......excellent work.

Hey Victor,
beautiful landscape! The various shades of green really jump in your face. Sharpness is superb and composition well-balanced with one third for each layer of grass, hill and clouds. I can't wait to get my hands on a wide-angle lens such as this sigma 10-20...You put it to good use here.
