Elusive arches Photo

Photographer’s Note

Continuing my series of Guarapari, ES. What I find interesting about this one is the symmetry between the arch formed by the upper clouds and the one formed by the wave line. It’s the sort of thing that requires many frames to get in one composition. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Victor.
The swirling waters in the foreground and the very good detail, especially in the high-rise buildings, set this apart from most sunset shots. Yes, the parallel between the patterns of cloud and white water is very effective. I know what you mean about having to take many frames to get one good shot!

Hi Victor,
very nice effect.
Very important that you have a crispy sharp elements in the foreground, it improves the whole composition, especially when you use the effect of long time exposure.

Olá Victor,

bem encontrado paralelo entre a curva imaginária das nuvens e a das ondas. Confesso que não havia percebido isso na primeira leitura, mas o equilíbrio visual é evidente. A centralização da linha do horizonte também reforça a idéia. No mais, a foto apresenta toda aquela qualidade que é usual em seu trabalho: exposição adequada, ótima nitidez e um WB neutro, bem natural. Boa idéia e consequente registro!

Hi Victor,
Cool wide angle sunset shot. Long exposure shows motion of water well. Thin clouds makes sky look more interesting.
