Série sobre a minha visita a VITÓRIA - A Capital do Estado do ESPÍRITO SANTO - um dos 04 estados da Região SUDESTE do BRASIL (SÃO PAULO - SP, MINAS GERAIS - MG, RIO DE JANEIRO - RJ e ESPÍRITO SANTO - ES) e uma das três capitais brasileiras situadas em uma ilha (VITÓRIA/ES, FLORIANÓPOLIS/SC E SÃO LUÍS/MA) - de 12 a 14 de Agosto de 2011 - Nº 036 !

Series on my visit to VITÓRIA - The Capital City of the State of ESPÍRITO SANTO - one of the four states in the SOUTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL (SÃO PAULO - SP, MINAS GERAIS - MG, RIO DE JANEIRO - RJ and ESPÍRITO SANTO - ES) and one of the three brazilian capital cities situated on an island (VITÓRIA/ESPÍRITO SANTO, FLORIANÓPOLIS/SANTA CATARINA and SÃO LUÍS/MARANHÃO) - from August 12th to 14th, 2011 - #036 !

Visiting the CONVENTO DA PENHA/CLIFF'S CONVENT was something I always wanted to do. It's located on top of a hill, in the city of VILA VELHA/OLD VILLAGE, from where one can have great views of that city and of VITÓRIA/VICTORY as well. In this picture, I focused on some details of that building, built on rocky terrain, with many stairs so one can go up to the top!

Law school will soon start again. Dear TE friends, I'll be less frequent around, but will surely visit this site I love as much as I can during the next five months.

Se um dia eu for visitar este lugar, já deu prá perceber a escadaria que eu vou ter que subir (hehe..), mas sei que a vista daí é linda. Espero um dia conhecer.Valeu compartilhar estes detalhes.

text book composition this. Enticing and inviting and full of character and intrigue. It looks like a beautiful little convent and overlooks the city which we can see in the distance. Executed and presented beautifully.

Hi Neyvan,
It is a well-chosen framing, in a high-angle shot that works very well graphically, and gives a nice perspective to the elegant facade and entrance gate of this museum mansion. The light has a beautiful effect on the elements, and the colors are magnificent.

Hi Ney,

Great perspective given here, it almost feel as if you're falling over and onto the steps. It definitely has a different feeling to it, and the composition has enhanced the effect with the narrow street. I like how you've placed the handrail to lead right into the frame, like a guide. For minimal subject matter, this has been well arranged and shows depth. Nicely done.
