Photographer’s Note

This is the external view of Nossa Senhora do Carmo church, build in 1938 in neo-gothic style. It is more impressive ang bigger than the real cathedral of the city, that I will post some days ahead. This is a lateral view.
Rio Grande is a big portuary town and is located inside a small peninsula, located inside the southern-tip of Patos lake, the biggest lake of Brazil.

Esta é a vista externa da igreja de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, datada de 1938, erguida em estilo neogótico. É uma igreja maior e mais impressionante que a catedral da cidade, que eu mostrarei daqui alguns dias. Aqui vemos uma vista da lateral da igreja.
Rio Grande é uma grande cidade portuária, localizada dentro de uma pequena península, no extremo sul da lagoa dos Patos, o maior lago do Brasil.

Hello Jorge,

Gotic or Neo Gotic this remain always very pleasant photographs for look at.
Good vertical frame, I would the two threads remove in corner, fine of colours lovely subject. Perspective and presentation are pleasant for look at.

Interessante é que ela está à beria da rua, quase sem calçada. O ambiente urbano se modifica substancialmente ao longo dos anos e o que vemos hoje fica, de fato, absolutamente diferente do que deve ter sido anos atrás. Beleza de arquitetura mostrada em eficiente ângulo.

Realmente a igreja é impressionante, chama bastante atenção e tem uma arquitetura muito bonita. Deve ter sido dificil enquadra-la.
Gostei da inclusão do movimento dos carros na rua.

A very beautiful architectur for this church. The details of this archtitectur are very well collected. Good framing and the cars give an idea of the scale of the edifice.

Hello Jorge,
it was a good idea to show us also an external view of this lovely church. I like this architecture and you have captured it with fine sharpness and many details. It must have been quite difficult to find a good POV, but you have managed it with a good result and a good framing. Good contrast between the church and the blue sky in the background. Well done.
