Canela and Gramado are twin towns, there is a highway uniting the cities but nowadays this route is like a big avenue, full of shops and private museuns. To get attention of tourists this museun put in its façade a copy of an old accident in Paris, 19th century. In that time a steam train lost its breaks and crossed the railwaystation, going out of the façade but without killing no one. This museun is dedicated to the memory of steam machines and the way they helped mankind to take a less hard life, there are lots of miniatures working and people explaining how the machines work. There are many big machines from old times too. There is a photo of the real accident at side of the copy, if you pay attention.

Canela e Gramado são cidades gêmeas, há uma rodovia ligando as duas cidades mas, na verdade, esta estrada foi transformada em uma grande avenida, repleta de lojas e museus privados. Para conseguir a atenção dos turistas este museu colocou uma réplica de um acidente na fachada, o acidente aconteceu em Paris, no século 19, quando uma locomotiva a vapor não conseguiu parar e ultrapassou a fachada da estação, saindo para fora da fachada, mas não matando ninguém. Este museu é dedicado à memória das máquinas a vapor e a maneira como elas auxiliaram a humanidade a ter uma vida menos árdua. No acervo existem muitas miniaturas em funcionamento e guias explicando como funcionam, há ainda algumas velhas máquinas em tamanho original.
