It was noon when the group of walkers arrived in the banks of Jacutinga river again. There was a group of people preparing meals because our lunch time would be in a rustic building located at side of the river. Soon hundreds of hungry people were waiting for meal while others were walking around the place, enjoying the falls, the bridge and the nature around. I took this photo without people because this..
Here we can see the waterfalls, I had crossed the bridge and I was in Nova Tebas municipality. At right is something like a small bay and the waters stay closed there for while going out of the place to the main chanel, at left. These black stones are volcanic and typical of my region. At right is Nova Tebas municipality while at left is Manoel Ribas municipality.
There are few places on Earth with more waterfalls, cascades and rapids than state of Paraná, we have some of the big ones in the world, some very high and others very small and humble, this is only one of our many little treasures.

RIO JACUTINGA

Já era meio-dia quando o grupo de caminhantes alcançou novamente as margens do rio Jacutinga. Ali havia um grupo de pessoas preparando o almoço, que seria servido ali, num barracão rústico,nas proximidades do rio. Logo uma fila de famintos se formou com centenas de pessoas enquanto outra parte caminhava junto ao rio, querendo conhecer a cachoeira, a ponte a a natureza ao redor. Não por acaso tirei esta foto ainda sem pessoas em cena.
Vemos a cachoeira aqui, eu havia cruzado a ponte e estava em território do município de Nova Tebas. À direita há algo como uma pequena baía, as águas caem e ficam ali por um tempo antes de se dirigirem ao canal principal que corre para o lado esquerdo, as rochas negras são vulcânicas e típicas da minha região. À direita está o território do município de Nova Tebas enquanto que à esquerda vemos as terras de Manoel Ribas.
Existem poucos lugares no planeta com tamanha quantidade de corredeiras, cascatas e cachoeiras como o estado do Paraná, temos das maiores do mundo às mais humildes, das mais altas às mais baixas, esta é apenas uma das muitas, um dos nossos pequenos tesouros.
