around 70 years ago this area was a deep jungle, then the area was transformed in small plantations and after in pastures. Some of the old native trees were cut and used to make poles in the fences, some of these trees had a very strong timber and even after being abandoned in the sun and rain they conserve its original shapes. Here we have a sample.

Há cerca de 70 anos esta área era mata fechada, com a chegada dos colonizadores o local foi a princípio transformado em plantações e depois em pastagens. Muitas das árvores nativas foram usadas para fazer palanques de cerca e aqui temos esta amostra de madeira, que mesmo depois de tomar tanto sol e chuva ainda se mantém algo íntegra mostrando a dureza de seu cerne.
