Photographer's Note

around 70 years ago this area was a deep jungle, then the area was transformed in small plantations and after in pastures. Some of the old native trees were cut and used to make poles in the fences, some of these trees had a very strong timber and even after being abandoned in the sun and rain they conserve its original shapes. Here we have a sample.

Há cerca de 70 anos esta área era mata fechada, com a chegada dos colonizadores o local foi a princípio transformado em plantações e depois em pastagens. Muitas das árvores nativas foram usadas para fazer palanques de cerca e aqui temos esta amostra de madeira, que mesmo depois de tomar tanto sol e chuva ainda se mantém algo íntegra mostrando a dureza de seu cerne.

Ola Jorge,
nice the close up view of the trunk with the 'waves' on it to create a spectacular sight.The brilliant light brings out the details of its texture with the leafs to decorated perfect.

Muito boas a iluminação e as cores! A textura do tronco ficou excelente! Mas a foto seria na horizontal? É que seu nome e o ano ficaram escritos na vertical... Se não fosse por isso eu nem perceberia, porque acho que a imagem ficou bem interessante nessa posição. Belo trabalho!

Muy bonito primer plano sobre el tronco de este arbol caido.... o derribado... un imagen magnifica, plena de luz que muestra con gran nitidez, sus texturas y detalles, curiosos surcos que parece como si los hubiese causado la erosion, bonito contraste con los verdes de la hierba en derredor.
Gran calidad de la imagen, en una original composicion.
