ANGRY BIRD, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

I was walking down a pasture when I saw this bird in the ground. I took some photos and it wasn't moving then I imagined it was sick or had something broken. When I tryied to take it in my hands it scaped flying to the trees around. I never understood why it was in the ground, I thought it was a nocturn bird lost in the day light, but I guess it isn't.

Estava descendo uma pastagem quando vi este pássaro, tirei uma fotos e quando me aproximei me apercebi que ele não se movia. Imaginei que estivesse doente ou com alguma coisa quebrada e quando fui apanhá-lo com as mãos ele saiu voando para as árvores próximas. Até hoje não sei a razão dele estar no chão, pensei até que poderia ser uma ave noturna desabrigada ao sol, mas acho que não era isso.

Ola Jorge,
Whatever was the reason the bird was angry, just by beeing close ranged with human, maybe frightened her.
Anyhow, manage a clear fine image of the bird on ground.

Very clear shot of what must have been a tough moment to capture well. You can certainly see the angry expression and the fear in its eyes - glad it seems to be okay, but I hope you didn't get pecked or scratched in the attempt!
