My region has a very fertile soil and produce all year round (two harvests by year). During the winter it is usual to plant wheat (that have few troubles with the frosts when it is young)or corn, that is easily lost under low temperatures. In these last years farmers aren't receiving so much attention of Brazilian government about wheat and many farmers are abandoning the wheat, at same time the canola is becoming to be an option for winter. In this image you can see wheat ahead and canola in the foreground, here you can see some small forest reservations with the native trees.

Minha região tem solos férteis e produz duas colheitas por ano. Durante o inverno é comum que se plante trigo, que quando jovem resiste bem às geadas, alguns optam pelo milho que é facilmente perdido caso seja um ano bem frio. Contudo, nos últimos anos o governo tem deixado de incentivar o plantio de trigo e este começa a ser abandonado, o cultivo de canola no inverno passa então a ser uma boa opção.
