Photographer's Note

Poty Lazarotto (1924-1998) was one of the most famous artists from State of Paraná, in this serie about Curitiba I will show another works created by him. Here we can see a azulejos panel created by him and paying homage to Curitiba and its region. We can see some araucária trees, guys climbing the trees to harvest the eatible seeds, we can see gralha-azul, the symbol bird of State of Paraná that lives eating the araucária seeds and while buring some seeds to the future let new trees born. We can see here a typical timber house build by Polish immigrants too.. In the foreground we can see the typical taxi cabs of Curitiba, painted in orange.
