A FAMOUS BROMELIAD, a photo from Parana, South

I found this abandoned pineapple in an area of the rural zone, I guess it was begining to produce the fruit. Pineapples are the most known specie of bromeliad.

Encontrei este abacaxi abandonado num recanto da zona rural, creio que o fruto ainda estava em crescimento. Abacaxis são o mais conhecido tipo de bromélia.

A colorful but somewhat intimidating pineapple, with all of the spiky leaves surrounding it. Amazing color here, Jorge - the bright pink is offset well by the green BG.

Hola Jorge.
Fantastica captura de esta conocida bromelia, ciertamente su fruto es delicioso, me encanta ese color rojo de la fruta, pienso que es porque lo han dejado madurar en la planta.
Es una bonita composicion con gran nitidez y buena luminosidad.
Disfruta de un buen dia y lamento la terrible catastrofe que ha sufrido tu pais.
