Series on my trip to JOÃO PESSOA - The Capital City of the State of PARAÍBA - NORTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL - From February 2nd to 9th, 2009 - #025 !

In the mouth of the RIO GUAJU/GUAJU RIVER - in the border of the States of PARAÍBA and RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, locals would offer us a ride into the local vegetation called "MANGUEZAL". The further we went into the woods, the less we listened to the sounds of the breaking waves in the nearby sea and more peaceful, silent and calmer the place became! Nevertheless, there were other welcome sounds coming from some birds singing and the gentle wind kissing the leaves of the plants!

This picture was taken while I and my parents were being offered the ride and after that we would choose in which one we'd like to go. Ended up choosing the one teenager and his younger sister would be our guides! They had simple but interesting explanations about the nature around and very touching awareness of nature preservation! Hard life... wishes of helping them out!

Planes and TE make it possible... by a simple click on one's mouse one travels from the frozen Ushuaia, to the highlands of Peru and then to the hot brazilian northeastern region!

Hello Ney,
A fine composition making excellent use of these colour little boats. The eyes move naturally from one to the next and then on to the lush green vegetation under that lovely blue sky. Very good natural looking colours and excellent sharpness throughout. A very pleasing well lit image.

Muito boa diagonal formada por estes barcos coloridos. Só foi mesmo pena aquela pessoa ter ficado tão distante. Ah, agora reparei que há outra dentro da água à esquerda do último barco.

beautiful capture of these colorful boats. I like the diagonal position of them and of course their perfect saturated colors. Watching the wonderful surrounding one can feel the idyllic atmosphere of this place. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

Bonjour Neyvan ,
Une superbe image ! Il y a ici bien sûr les contrastes de couleurs des bateaux . mais aussi ceux de l'eau : bleu derrière , et rougeoyante au premier plan . Je me demande si moins de ciel n'aurait pas été mieux . Je tente un WS . Evidemment , on perd un peu de ces jolis nuages , mais on gagne en impact sur les bateaux , à mon humble avis .

i think you could crop out the top to make the diagonal working better
at first sight, the square format is so so

Toda a fotografia é cor.Estava eu a pensar fazer um Ws quando reparei que alguém já o tinha feito exactamente como pensava fazer.Acho que o original tem céu a mais.
Mas a foto vale pela cor e luz. Bom trabalho de captura.

pas de doutes ces barques sont très colorées et ne passent pas inaperçues. Pas moyen de se camoufler , mais il est très facile de les retouver lorsque l'on s'égare sur les rives du fleuve. Une photo peut-être un rien trop exposée.

Hi Neyvan,
very pleasant subject those colourful boats! The face-powder-colour-sand highlights even further the strong colour of the riverboats. The weakest part of the photo is the sky, a bit noisy and pale. I'll try a workshop, if you do not mind to show my interpretation. Dario.
