Series on my trip to JOÃO PESSOA - The Capital City of the State of PARAÍBA - NORTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL - From February 2nd to 9th, 2009 - #023 !

TRÊS COQUEIROS - THREE COCONUT TREES - On the border of the States of PARAÍBA and RIO GRANDE DO NORTE, there's a small town called BAÍA FORMOSA with wonderful surroundings! I took this picture right after visiting the LAGOA ARARAQUARA/ARARAQUARA LAGOON (there are pictures of it here in my gallery), the last spot seen during that wonderful day in the beach! Getting out of the very well preserved forest where the lagoon is, up on some hills and dunes, the view of the Atlantic Ocean! Those three coconut trees where right there, posing for the picture... I couldn't resist it... said "Excuse me!" and shot! They seemed to enjoy that!

Que beleza esses coqueiros, hein? Lembro na Bahia indo pra Sergipe tinham muitos coqueiros também.
Não conheço a Paraíba, tenho vontade de conhecer o resto do nordeste, mas como já visitei esses lados e o sul minha meta agora é a região centro-oeste, em especial o Pantanal.

Hi Ney,

The palm trees are framing well the beach. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the photo. The diagonal line of the beach is an asset to the composition. The quality of the light is enhancing the different tints of the colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

I very much like this tropical composition, which well suits the vertical format. The turquoise tones of the ocean are beautiful and make a splendid dividing line between the tropical blue sky and the lush greens of the vegetation. An image very easy on the eyes; I like it a lot.

Olá Ney,
estos tres cocoteros solitarios frente al paisaje de la playa desierta nos dan la sensación de estar en el paraíso o de ser unos náufragos al estilo de Crusoe.
Es impresionante el contraste cromático de los tonos azules del mar y del cielo con los verdes de las palmas y de la vegetación.
La luz es fuerte y está bien controlada, dando mucha fuerza a la belleza de la composición.
Excelente trabajo.

Olà Ney!
Des palmiers, la mer, ça fait toujours rêver. Je passe quatre mois d'été au bord de la mer mais la plage n'est pas aussi belle et il manque les palmiers. Bonne composition, bel éclairage et superbes couleurs.

Precioso lugar y gran composicion con estas elegantes palmeras como protagonistas de tan placida playa. Me gustan mucho los suaves colores con una tonalidad de azules y verdes preciosa.
