River Parnaíba Photo

Photographer’s Note

This river separates two states: Piaui and Maranhão.
In the other side you can see Maranhão state and there is a small city called Timon.
Now the rains finished and the climate is hot. The level of the waters decreases and these sandbanks appear in the bed of the river.
This little boat that you can see in the middle of the river is a kind of transportation that some poeple use to across the river.

PS. Oh! my God, I often forget to correct the horizon line. Excuse me, friends.

uma paisagem cheia de cores essa, que fora o desnivelamento da linha do horizonte ficou perfeita. Belo trabalho.

Bonjour mon amie,
une photo qui montre que ces fleuves charient sans cesse des alluvions. Une photo avec un bien joli ciel, mais qui penche sérieusement à gauche.

linda vista do rio e dos dois estados, o barco está bem colocado e o contraste entre o verde, os bancos de areia e o belo céu de belas nuvens é mesmo bonito. a luz está boa, nitidez também boa. vc apenas se esqueceu de corrigir a inclinação da linha do horizonte, eu vivo fazendo isto.hahaha

Hello Maria,
What attracts me to this photo is the soft look of the sandbanks, almost like a painting, with some movement in the overflow. The small boat is nice bonus.
The lush green and the sky complete the photo.

A foto está muito boa, com um belo céu meio nublado, o verde das margens, o barquinho lá no rio e os bancos de areia com sua tonalidade bem bonita!
Novamente, uma dica, tentaria tirar, se possível, essa parte de cimento da parte inferior da imagem!

this is a very happy shot :) I like the bright colours and the beautiful prespective view! The rows of clouds in the sky look so low!

Yes, the horizon line seems to be tilted a bit ;) and maybe I would crop about 2cm from the left or the right side.
And also...
I wonder if the same happens to you? for example, very often when I aim and shoot a photo, the horizontal line looks absolutely horizontal in the camera view finder! but after I look at it on the screen - it looks absolutely tilted! LOL
What happens?.. I can only guess.
