Photographer’s Note

It's my 200th post. I chose to post this picture because this represents a little of my state.
It's a store that sell leather items mainly to the people that work with cattle in countryside. Here they can find hats, saddles, bags , clothes, boots and several other items. In the right side in the up you can see an instrument made of horn of ox that is used to call the cattle. It imitates the moo of the animals.
Here in Brazil it is called "berrante".Brazilians know very well these "berrantes".
In WS other angle of this store that is located in a Central Market of Teresina.

Ola Maria,
Congratulations on you two hundred postings, quite a lot of photos when you think about it. Some you may think I should have done this or that to make better, also some good advice on TE also.
This kind of shop as in your photo is great for the people who work in the countryside. A supermarket for all they need in one shop.
I like the horn you mentioned top right and the hats bottom left, my choice. lol
Nice a bright photo.
I looked in your workshop, I liked that one very much, maybe because not so many items.
Thanks for showing, Daily life items that are used each day in your State of Piaui.

Olá Maria,

Congratulations for your first two hundredth of another beautiful posts on TrekEarth, its really a meaningful milestone.

They seems all natural in your well managed capture under difficult light conditions. I liked also your workshop post that include a fully wore mannequin with traditional country side style leather clothes. Hope I can visit one of similar store and buy some souvenirs when I came to Brazil next time.

200th! Congrats. It takes a while get to that point! I look at your and others photos almost every day even though I'm not very active with my own posting or writing critics. I very much enjoy looking at all photos that are presented.
Here I can almost feel the pleasant smell of leather when I look at this photo. Nice to see that even small shops can survive so we aren't forced to buy at a superstore.
Nicely shown, and I like your WS as well.

Idéia excelente mostrar todos esses produtos - ao que me parece em sua maioria derivados de couro - em comemoração às suas 200 fotografias aqui no TE - PARABÉNS!
O ponto de vista escolhido e a composição realizada com os elementos que tinha em mãos me agradam bastante! Sinto um pouco a falta de uma maior nitidez - gosto pessoal por ver detalhes nas fotos! Nada que prejudique em demasia minha avaliação da imagem, só um toque, uma dica, de gosto pessoal, volto a afirmar!

legal ver este estoque todo, cheio de detalhes. A cadeira vazia está bem ali, mas ficaria melhor com o personagem lá. revi até um daqueles litros feitos com pé de boi, estava falando num deles há uns dois dias. bela amostra de objetos de uso no campo e que tanto dizem sobre o PI

Olá Maria, parabéns pelo post nº200. A foto chamou-me a atenção nas miniaturas pois pareceu-me ser um talho com carne pendurada. Agora vejo que não tem nada a haver, haha. Mas o resultado gráfico é igualmente interessante. Bem diferente da cultura gaúcha que vi na Argentina e que vocês têm no sul também. Interessante o detalhe do berrante.

Looking at this photo I find many commons with my country too..There are also i n GREECE
shops that sell leather things..I like this kind of shot because it has too many attractive details,nicely done and presented

Dear Maria

It's an interesting picture of a leather shop with a lot of details and colorful. Well framed, however the contrast could be bolder in my view. There also is a hint of reddish on the walls, which certainly should be white. The latter is the result of the bulb I guess. Nonetheless I nice shot.
