Tambaba beach II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Twenty-two miles south of João Pessoa, in Conde, is unique Tambaba beach: it stretches for nearly two miles of even ground with surf breaking gently into four inlets and coves of crystal-clear waters. Also coconut trees, of course, and dark rocks which reach into the sea, to embrace natural swimming-pools and caves; adn clifs framing this dream-lik scenario where vegetation is preserved and whick shelters the first naturist (nudist) in the Northeast, officially recognized in 1989.

Hi Leonor,

I remember that you posted one or another of these wonderful beach scenes in the past. I love the scenery here with dark rocks against the background of a blue sky and the sea that looks a bit dangerous. TFS and have nice day!

o destaque fica para a beleza da água quebrando nas rochas. Lembro-me uma vez (1997) de férias em Natal eu caí nesses recifes e "ralei" bem o ombro e braço.
Interessante também os dois tons de água do mar.

Uma costa bem selvagem, com esse mar revolto cheio de espuma em luta contras as pedras ásperas da costa. Gosto do enquadramento e do PdV baixo. O momento foi muito bem escolhido.

Olá Leonor,

You captured the waves crashing onto the rocks, and the foam generated by the waves against the cerulean blue sky. The rock, though, appears to be mostly volcanic. Is this an area where volcanos have existed in the not too distant past?
