Series on my trip to JOÃO PESSOA - The Capital City of the State of PARAÍBA - NORTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL - From February 2nd to 9th, 2009 - #029 !

PRAIA DE CABO BRANCO (I) !
WHITE CAPE BEACH (I) !

JOÃO PESSOA/PB is the city in Brazil where the sun rises first! It's the capital city of the State of PARAÍBA, in the NORTHEASTERN REGION OF BRAZIL! Before getting there, I planned to go to the easternmost tip in the Americas before the first ray of sun would reach it! But, dear friends, that happens real early in the morning (around 4:30-5:00 am) and after a whole day of activities, that was too much for me and I ended up not going there the time I wanted to! Anyway, this day, I just walked along the southern beaches of that city and enjoyed their beauty! Here I was at the CABO BRANCO BEACH and looking northwards! In the background, the TAMBAÚ BEACH.

Marvellous warm cold colour contrasts, between the red tinted esplanade, & the blue sky, with superb sharpness, linear perspective & colour saturation. The coconut palms frame the attractive beach nicely. Parabens & obrigado!

Hello Neyvan,

This is a classical tropical beach scene and I notice they made this well integrated promenade!
The fine sand is there, so is the blue sea and the palm trees...
A balanced composition with good details!

Ces plages magnifiques me donnent toujours un peu envie de vacances mais lorsque je pars je choisis toujours des lieux où il y a peu de monde, pour vraiment goûter au calme.

I'm sure your country would have no dearth of fine beaches & this seems to be one. Good perspective & lead-in created by the paved path. Like the curve of the shore and the contrast created by the turquoise waters with the sand. Well done!

Hi Neyvan,

The diagonal line of the sidewalk and the curve of the beach are assets to the composition. The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view takes our eyes toward the city and the horizon which is giving depth to the composition. The light has a good effect on the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.
