Series on my trip to JOÃO PESSOA - The Capital City of the State of PARAÍBA - NORTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL - From February 2nd to 9th, 2009 - #022 !

SOBRE OS TETOS II - OVER THE ROOFTOPS II - SUR LES TOITS II - SOPRA I TETTI II - Downtown João Pessoa is where the city was founded and unlike most northeastern brazilian cities, it's not by the sea, but by the river - the RIO SANHAUÁ/SANHAUÁ RIVER (seen in the background, still with preserved forest around - the white spots are birds)! This picture was taken from an old local hotel, overlooking the old city and its ancient buildings and rooftops! It was my first entire day in that city and it was a rainy day! Good Gracious, all the other ones were bright, hot and sunny!

THERE ARE TWO OTHER WS VERSIONS, with DIFFERENT PP'S (SATURATION, BRIGHTNESS ETC.). Having some spare time, take a look and compare them! I'd really love to have some FEEDBACK on their different QUALITIES/FLAWS. PLEASE, tell me your preferences! They'll truly help me on future works!!!!

Hello Ney,
Good perspective over the tiles looking towards the river. Interesting red/green tonal contrasts. Good rendering of tones and textures.

Hi Neyvan,the colors are a little strangres,in particular the green seem much satured,but the point of view from this roof is very very nice,beuatiful sharpness too,my best compliments,Luciano

Hi Neyvan,

it looks like a road with red tubes leading to the river. The POV chosen is excellent to get a superb view on where the river goes and its surrounding forest.

Tão bela quanto a primeira ( n. I )! Posso quase ver a Praia do Jacaré ali ao fundo e escutar o Bolero do Ravel, executado pelo saxofonista e premiado do Guiness Book , o Jurandy!

A imagem é linda. Não deu para precisar se essas são daquelas telhas feitas nas pernas de antigamente. O rio e a mata são elementos fortes.

Olá Neyvan,
coitado do dono da casa, o pé de maracujá ja emaranhou todo no telhado dele, e além dos insetos, com o tempo vai destruir tudo, tem que matar ele o quanto antes, no meu sítio tivemos um problema danado por causa disso. Tirando esse pequeno detalhe que não é problema nosso, a foto ficou ótima, com a boa qualidade e cores de sempre.

Bonjour Neyvan,

Un POV très bien choisi et une belle utilisation de ce beau toit rouge comme avant-plan. Les couleurs sont très belles avec un bel équilibre entre le vert et le rouge. Une image avec une très belle profondeur également.

Bonjour Ney,
une construction de photo originale, ces toits guidetn le ragard vers le fond de la scène qui a énormémént de profondeur. Excellents jeux de couleurs avec un ciel qui aurait mérité une meilleure exposition.

Hello Ney

Good repetition of the bamboo like red tiles, on the fg roof, which contrast well, against the blue sky. A superb high pov, with excellent sharpness. Tfs!

It's an interesting picture, thanks to your hogh POV & the look above the red tiles onto the lush green beyond. Indeed the contrast between the red & the green colour is lovely. Saw both the WS verions, but i would still go with this simply because the red stands out here. Well done!
