Located in the State of Maranhão, on the north shore of Brazil, the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is an area of about 300 square kilometers (155,000 ha) of blinding white dunes and deep blue lagoons, forming one of the most beautiful and unique places in the world.

It is absolutly wonderful Isabel, the light is superb, the place impressive. I just can't believe you don't have any lens flare on this photograph.

Very nice picture with great colors. A note with some explanations on the place would be nice though and also, the medium says "black & white" instead of "colors"...

Yes, this place seems to be incredible. It's a nice composition, though I bet the light would be better for photography on late afternoon. Even so, you managed to get the right exposure here, avoiding blowing up the sand.
