Photographer's Note

Here a photo from inside the Fortaleza Cathedral. I don't see so much thing inside the church, only the a few stain glass windows. But I think the light here entering from the main door very interesting. Tell me your opnion.

The Big Church
inside view

The present church was built on the site of the ancient Sé Church. The work took forty years to be completed and was launched in 1938 and inaugurated in 1978. It seats 5,000 people and its towers reach 75 meters in height. The French architect George Maunier signed the project of eclectic style, with a predominance of Gothic and Romanesque, with references to the Cologne Cathedral in Germany and much like the Chartres Cathedral in France. St. Joseph is the saint tied the cathedral that is also known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Joseph.

Hello André,

I am a very great fan of church interiors, as these.
You must work with very strong backlight this is very difficult
Nothwithstanding chose an excellent angle with a wonderful result.
Nice depth and perspective.

Excellent perspective & composition. Only the bright doors/windows in BG are slightly distracting.

nice the interior view of the Cathedral with the exterior light to creates a beautiful optical effect in the whole image.I like the links with the Cathedral in a lot of scenes.

Not an easy shot to get and the result here is excellent. The person bathed in an ethereal light at the doorway in the bg makes the shot. Good color in the stained glass windows with superb sharpness. Tfs!
