VALE DO CACHOEIRÃO !
BIG WATERFALLS VALLEY !

It was my FOURTH day in the VALE DO PATI/PATI VALLEY. Another hard trekking - 16km - to reach the very end of the VALE DO CACHOEIRÃO/BIG WATERFALLS VALLEY! In the beginning it was quite easy, some kilometers just walking in the VALE DO PATI/PATI VALLEY and in the VALE DO CACHOEIRÃO! As the valley became narrower, I had to walk along trails in the middle of woods, through creeks, big rocks, always up, until I reached the end of it, in a horseshoe shaped big rocky wall, with waterfalls all around! My shorts were all torn apart because of the hard work but it was all worthwhile!

Hello Neyvan,

Splendid waterfall between the big rocks.
Soft contrast between the green vegetation and white rockstone.
Colours are superb, also the sharpness and clarity.

A nice waterfall that looks quite high as wel feel comparing it to trees bur there nothing really identifiable to provide scale, still I guess it must be high

Hello Ney,
A splendid view to reward your exertions! The greens of the vegetation make a pleasing contrast with the greys of the rocks. A good light helps bring out the tones and textures in the rocks to best advantage. Thanks for sharing.

Une chute très impressionnante avec une belle utilisation du format vertical. Bel équilibre dans les couleurs entre le vert de la végétation et le gris des rochers.

Magnificos paisajes los tu viaje a Chapada Diamantina, esta composicion vertical es fantastica con esa trementa caida de agua que parece crear un efecto de cortina, precioso el contraste de color entre el musgo con la aridez de la roca. Otro buen trabajo.

With my love of waterfalls I just had to pick this one.The water is falling like a curtain and we can see places where it has been frozen with your shutter and just hangs there in mid-air as if the curtain is ragged. An amazing effect. A well exposed image with good colours.
