First Mass, a photo from Bahia, Northeast

Photographer's Note

In this place, in Coroa Vermelha (Red Crown), which is a district of Santa Cruz Cabrália, the first mass was celebrated in Brazil after the arrival of the Portuguese, on April 26th 1500. In the 500th birthday of the country this cross was built. There are still some indians there asking for money to appear in our pictures.

Hello Fabiano,
I think this is an interesting beach scene. The sky is lovely, and I like the row of palm trees that stretch across the frame. The giant cross really stands out against this tropical background. You have placed it well, in the right third of the photo.

a imagem tem um lindo enquadramento e este fiapo de luz dourada iluminando a cruz criou um efeito visual fantástico. uma linda foto. bem feito. quando fui lá neste local havia apenas um monte de barracas com souvenirs e botecos.

Uma boa composição, com boa luz e cores! Bom ver o local da primeira missa - acho que ainda temos por cá a cruz que dizem ter sido utilizada nesse dia e que é bem, bem menor que essa:)!
