Colours of Maragogi Photo

Photographer’s Note

Maragogi is a city in Alagoas, half-way between Maceió and Recife. Basically, there's not much to do but rest, enjoy the fabulous beaches and visit the galés: natural pools on the reefs. This area is good for travelling with children, asthe sea is so calm and warm, and low tide allows for long walks on the water observing fishes and other life forms such as baby shrimps and shells. Also, beaches along the coast are plain, allowing for calm buggy tours.

Wonderful composition. The tight framing makes it more intersting.
From bottom to the top,its perfectly symmetrical.

Waow, this is a dreaming place ! I like your original composition with the palm trees and kayaks on the borders to "open" on the beautiful lanscape. The stormy clouds are great. Well done :)

This looks like a wonderful tropical paradise. Thanks for the good description of the area as well as an enticing picture. Technically, I think I would have enjoyed a more generous crop that would include the whole palm tree and whole kayaks. Still nice composition.

Hi Alexandra, this is very good shot, i like your POV and composition, i think you've added a lot of contrast because there are red on the edge of the tree body and leafs. well done in general.

Olá Alexandra!
Considero Maragogi/Alagoas, onde estive em 2001, uma das localidades com praias mais lindas do Brasil e onde são mais parecidas com as do Caribe (temperatura, calma e cor das águas do mar!).
Sua foto, na posição vertical, a composição mostrando o belo céu, o par de coqueiros (também bem típicos do litoral alagoano), o mar e os caiaques, tudo fez desta foto uma belíssima imagem!

Além de uma foto belíssima, você colocou dados importantes na nota. Nem sempre se pensa num destino de mar calmo, em que caibam crianças nesse contexto.
