Photographer’s Note

The arara, threatened with extinction due to illegal capture and growth of deforestation, is a type of parrot colored capable of produce sounds, imitating voices, to whistle. Fly a short distance, it has a short breath. Live in small flocks in South America and it feeds on fruit, seeds, worms, flowers and shoots.
