Série sobre a minha viagem à CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS - no Estado de GOIÁS - um dos 04 estados da Região CENTRO-OESTE do BRASIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - TO, MATO GROSSO - MT e MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) e onde também está o DISTRITO FEDERAL/DF (no qual se localiza BRASÍLIA) - de 17 a 25 de SETEMBRO de 2011 - Nº 048 !

Series on my trip to CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS/DEER HUNTERS' MOUNTAIN RANGE - In the State of GOIÁS - one of the four states in the MIDDLE-WESTERN Region of BRAZIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - GO, MATO GROSSO - MT and MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) and where DISTRITO FEDERAL/FEDERAL DISTRICT is also located (BRASÍLIA is there too) - from September 17th to 25th, 2011 - #048 !

LOST WORLD !

Inside the PARQUE NACIONAL DA CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS (DEER HUNTERS MOUNTAIN RANGE NATIONAL PARK), a series of falls, rapids, canyons and ponds can be found everywhere!

I took this picture when we were walking from one of the canyons towards the CARIOQUINHAS WATERFALLS while we stopped by for some time to, once more, get some refreshing moments in the water!

A pretty isolated place, we could only hear the sound of nature! When I was swimming there I felt as if I were in some kind of LOST WORLD!

Hello Ney,
A well composed shot where the inky black waters make a superb contrast with their surroundings. The image is very nicely lit and has lovely colours. Very good sharpness.

A wonderful photograph from a year ago - how did you manage to sit on this one for a year and not show it to us before now? :)

Excellent composition, the curve of the water's edge leading us from the near foreground through the picture and into the distant part of this deep pool, gorgeous vibrant colours, lovely reflections and stunning details and sharpness.

Actually all your posted photos, especielly the waterfall photos are of excellent quality. Unfortunately I'm not able to comment majority of them.
Also this one is very scenic and beautifully taken. I like the soft reflections in water, excellent clarity and nice colors.
Wonderful how nature can sculpture itself...

Ooh those golden rocks are wonderful and I like how you've used them as a natural frame, or at least a partial frame for the photo. The vertical cut works well and the reflections have been rendered beautifully. Excellent shot, have a lovely day.

Why would you ever leave Brazil? A beautiful photograph of an amazing location, perfect composition and excellent light management. There is a new series on British TV at the moment, by Michael Palin (of Monty Python fame), which is a documentary series about Brazil. Both it and your photographs make me want to visit. Shame about the cost...

Never get tired of looking at this, like the choice of composition, the dark calm water adds the contrast and stands out with fg rocks leading in. This is a lovely nature spot, very peaceful in warm colors and lots of intricate detail. Great shot, Congrats.

I really enjoy the mood. The water looks very dark almost black. The photo really conveys the feeling of a lost world you describe in your note. Also very well-composed with the rocks in the foreground. The vertical format is a great choice. TFS and have a nice day!

Hello Neyvan,

The vertical position works very good with
the yellow stones on the forground it
creates a nice depth and the yellow stones
are a nice colors break. Light management
and the composition are as alway great.
One little advice: watch out for the ISO:
you can see a little bit noice in the
water.
