Série sobre a minha viagem à CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS - no Estado de GOIÁS - um dos 04 estados da Região CENTRO-OESTE do BRASIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - TO, MATO GROSSO - MT e MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) e onde também está o DISTRITO FEDERAL/DF (no qual se localiza BRASÍLIA) - de 17 a 25 de SETEMBRO de 2011 - Nº 044 !

Series on my trip to CHAPADA DOS VEADEIROS/DEER HUNTERS' MOUNTAIN RANGE - In the State of GOIÁS - one of the four states in the MIDDLE-WESTERN Region of BRAZIL (GOIÁS - GO, TOCANTINS - GO, MATO GROSSO - MT and MATO GROSSO DO SUL - MS) and where DISTRITO FEDERAL/FEDERAL DISTRICT is also located (BRASÍLIA is there too) - from September 17th to 25th, 2011 - #044 !

CACHOEIRA DO POÇO ENCANTADO!
ENCHANTED POND WATERFALLS!

I saw many pictures of those waterfalls during the rainy season... it's completely different... but I enjoyed the way it looked that day I visited it!
When I arrived, it was empty... but soon, lots of people gathered around, specially a group of mystical people! Time to pack up and go to other falls!

That region is pretty much visited by exoterical folks who believe that that place is one of those that's going to be saved by the end of the World... lots of reasons, but one of them says that it's because it's right in the middle of South America, away from the ocean and in high altitudes!

Olá Net,

que foto linda! Adorei esse verde saturado saltando da foto. Lindo local também! Chapada dos Veadeiros e a dos guimarães são locais que espero conhecer em breve.

Malgré une lumièe un peu forte, tu t'en es bien sorti avec le reste plutôt foncé de l'eau et le premier plan clair et toute cette mousse et cette cascade qui fait la beauté de ce paysage

I love the mist and speed of this water. It is such a powerful composition, beautifully composed and sharp. The light is handled extremely well and ahhhh your subject is just unforgettable.

Não sei como você resistiu a dar um mergulho como aqueles lá no fundo.Excelente foto com as águas, as rochas e o verde numa atraente composição. Se um dia eu for neste lugar vou pegar umas dicas com você.É cada recanto mais bonito que o outro.

Wonderful image, the moss is so lush and verdant, and I love when it hangs of rocks like this. The waterfall looks refreshing and a great place for a swim. I am glad you mentioned the people in your note, I would not have seen them otherwise, and it gives great scale to this natural wonder.

too bad you didn't have a tripod to do a longer exposure so you could play around with the water streams :)
I'd like to hear more about these 'mystical' people you mentioned!

I am really impressed by this image. I love the composition and the exposure on the rocks and waterfall is amazing.
A well-chosen framing, in a slight low-angle works very well graphically, and gives a nice perspective to this great waterfall and green covered rocks. The light and the shades have a beautiful effect on the elements, and the vivid colors are magnificent. Have a nice day.

se vc nãon tivesse mencionado as pessoas eu não as teria visto. elas dão um sensod e escala ao conjunto e nos fazem ver quão grandes são as quedas.estas plantas nas rochas ajudam a dar uma visão errada do tamanho das quedas, parecem menores do que são.bem feito. um local precioso, não é preciso ser místico para se encantar com elas. OPp.
