Photographer’s Note

Night shot of the Itamaraty Palace, Brasília, the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a 4-sec exposure time. With its night illumination, the building seems to float weightless over the water mirror.
"One Vision" is a song written and recorded by the band Queen, first released as a single in 1985 and then included on their 1986 album "A Kind of Magic" (EMI/Capitol).

Vista noturna do Palácio do Itamaraty, em Brasília, onde funciona o Ministério das Relações Exteriores, em exposição de 4 segundos de duração. Quando visto à noite, assim iluminado, parece flutuar sobre o espelho d'água.
"One vision" é uma canção da banda Britânica Queen, gravada inicialmente como um single em 1985 e posteriormente incluída no álbum "A Kind of Magic" (EMI/Capitol), de 1986.

Olá Sergio,
essa é bem parecida com aquela publicada no livro do Niemeyer, última vez que estive tentei uma dessas também, dei a volta toda no Itamaraty até conseguir o ângulo, montei tripé, ajustei a câmera, e na hora de clicar a foto, apagaram a luz... Bando de FDP esse podo do governo... nem pagam a conta e apagam... fica pra próxima né, hehe! Bela foto.

A wonderful architectural view, well rendered in a fitting central compositon, brought in clear but also warm colours. The perfect reflection adds to create an almost abstract impression. All possible distortions well corrected. A pleasure to look at.

Esse é um dos edíficios mais impressionatemente belos de Brasília (pelo menos em fotos excelentemente tiradas como essa)! Aqui a foto noturna está perfeita, com nitidez e exposição de primeira linha! O ponto de vista escolhido foi muito bom para fazer essa composição que inclui o simétrico reflexo que é muito atraente e lindo!

é um cartão postal tradicional, mas você conseguiu superar os melhores que já vi do palácio.

such a perfect reflection...well done balancing the tones and light. well composed also. i'm usually not a big fan of centering an image but this works well.
