Gate to the Jungle
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Monte Punco, or 'gate to the jungle' in Quechua, is a small town at the entrance to Parque Nacional Carrasco, at around 120 kms from the city of Cochabamba.
The place is around 3,000 meters, but on the very edge of the tropical forest, so it has a very special vegetation; Quewiñas, or polylepis trees, are abundant. This is a close up of a section that includes both the native forest, crops, and pastures. |

Hola Daniel,
Beautiful palette of yellows and greens. I like the pattern made by those fields that you framed and shot so well.
Saludos, José.
