Shadows of Uyuni Photo

Photographer’s Note

The "Salar of Uyuni" is an other world. Part of the South Lipez National Park it's a 6 meters thick layers of salt, ... on 10.000 squared kilometers.

During January and February it's partly recovered by water and after these two calm month the touristic period begin again, ... we were lucky to be at the very beginning of this one and so were nearly alone.

There was just this other jeep, far away, I took it with the maximal optical zoom (14x) of my camera and the reasult is a shadows like scenery !

Unfortunately there is a strong noise, mainly in the sky.

L'endroit, je le connais, et pourtant à chaque photo que je vois, je trésaille d'émotion. Voici une photo qui me plait beaucoup même si le cadrage n'est pas académique. Quand au bruit, je l'ai fait disparaitre avec Neatimage.

Bonjour Marc,

C'est une magnifique scène! Le cadrage très central ne me dérange pas ; peut-être un 2/3 de sel en portrait aurait apporté de la profondeur.

Hi Marc. Nevertheless this is a beautiful photo with fantastic light, colors and sparkling in the salt. The silhouet effect of the car and the persons is powerful. Well done. TFS. Regards Jens
