Cordillère royale (1/2)
La piste qui vient de l'El Alto de La Paz et mêne au lac Titica, longe la Cordillère Royale sur plus de 100 km.
La Cordillière Royale comprend plusieurs sommets mythiques et enneigés de plus de 6000m :
- Le Huayna Potosi (6088 m).
- L'Illimani (6462m).
- L'Illampu (6328 m).
- L'Ancohuma (6427 m).
- Le Pico del Norte (6050 m).
- Le Chachacomani (6074 m).
- Le Chearoco (6127 m).

Le long de cette piste, on trouve quelques villages et de nombreux habitats isolés.
Les sommets vus sont le Chachacomani et le Chearoco

J'ai reposté cette photo parce que le ciel était d'un bleu vif irréel et le postraitement n'était pas en harmonie avec les reste de ma galerie. Je sais, je suis un puriste...

Royal cordillera (1/2)
The track which comes from El Alto of Paz and goes to the Titica lake, skirts the Royal Cordillera on more than 100 km. Royal cordillera includes several mythical and iced peaks at more than 6000m:
- Huayna Potosi (6088 m).
- Illimani (6462m).
- Illampu (6328 m).
- Ancohuma (6427 m).
- Pico del Norte (6050 m).
- Chachacomani (6074 m).
- Chearoco (6127 m).

Along this track, we finds some villages and many isolated houses. The seen peaks seen Chachacomani and Chearoco.

I re-posted this photo because the sky was of an unreal sharp blue and posprocessing was not harmonizes some with the remainder of my gallery. I know, I am a purist...

Details and colour tones are stunning.
Yellow grass is impressive and gives a spectacular tone to the image.

c'est une superbe image où les couleurs et les formes s'harmonisent merveilleusement.
Elle donne envie de s'évader vers ce lieu.

Les herbes jaunes vraiment jaune collent beaucoup mieux à mes récents souvenirs ! Tu as vraiment bien fait de poster cette version corrigée :-)

A stunning landscape, Jean Pierre. The mountain itself is magnificent, gleaming in the blue sky. The contrasting colour of the foreground grasses is wonderful, and there are several lines leading the eye towards the left of the picture. The small, plain buildings only add to the feeling of vastness and space. A very good photograph.

Wonderful....truly wonderful.
The foreground is in such high contrast to the snowtop mountains and the deep blue sky that it's almost hurting my eyes. Such a deep contrast but stil so much detail...i like this alot.
Sky got some noise, but that does not really bother me...i think this is a great photo..!!

Très belle photo, vraiment exceptionell paysage. J'aime bien les couleurs brilliants de l'avant-plan, sa bien définie texture mais surtout la montagne blanche-bleu. Tu as capturé vraiment sa majesté éternelle, et sa beauté. Celle-ci est vraiment plus belle que la première. Bravo! et merci.

Wonderful shot.Excellent contrast in the foreground an fantastic colors overall.It`s a beautiful Landscape and you caught it verry nice with the village and the snowy peaks in the background.I drove there from Copacabana to La Paz by bus and have only some photos from the carneval when the bus had to stop because of the parades.

Magnifique paysage avec ces superbes couleurs très caractéristiques.Tu as bien amélioré le bas de l'image par rapport à l'originale...mais je trouve quand même l'accentuation un tout petit peu trop forte. Ceci dit, très belle photo!

Hi Jean Pierre,
The tones and hues, as usual in your shots, are superb. And just as usual is the fact that there are so many interesting layers to the scene. The thin strip of buildings nicely divides the frame and also leads the eye to the peaks and wilderness area beyond. You are right about the sky...

une composition excellente qui nous présente ce paysage andin incroyable. Le grand contraste du premier plan tellement stérile et le petit village avec les magnifiques montagnes de plus de 6000 m est une merveille. Les tons et les couleurs de la neige et le ciel donnent un grand graphisme à cette belle image.

Hello JP - I don't remember the original posting, but this one is very sucessful, super sharp foreground, and the soft layer of mist along the horizon adds a 3 dimensional feel.

This looks like an amazing place, absolutely amazing. I am curious of the base elevation. Are people able to farm? The mountains are magnificent. Thank you.
