Alalay Lagoon Photo

Photographer’s Note

The Kjocha-Pampa valley was first settled by the Spanish in 1542. Villa de Oropeza, later Cochabamba, was founded in 1571 in honor of the viceroy of Toledo. Founded along the banks of the Rocha river, the city was from this early date the beneficiary of the natural wealth of the geographic area.

Cochabamba lies in a fertile valley at 2,558 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Tunari hill, the Alalay lagoon and the San Sebastian hill. It is a city of approximately 600,000 people.

This is a panoramic view of the Alalay Lagoon which means "cold lagoon", has in its surroundings (approximately 7 Km.) The picture was taken from the San Sebastian Hill. You can see another picture of this place: HERE

Olá Gabriel
Bela paisagem de um belo pais.
Gostei da captura das montanhas e do vale ao fundo que não agrediu muito a paisagem.
As cores estão boas e o DOF POV tb.
Nomeu monitor ficou um pouco escura efiz um WS para corrigi-lo, vou colocar no TE para que vc o julgue.

Quizas yo hubiera excluido de la toma la vegetación de la esquina inferior izquierda para incluir una mayor parte de ciudad, pero igualmente muy bonita!

Hi Gabriel, A nice and wonderful view over to the city, the lagoon and the valley. From here, all the houses look so small. Good to include the people in the view to give a good reference to the distance. Nice contrast and depth. Well done.

Olá, Gabriel, sempre muito gentis tuas palavras.
Bela paisagem... embora prefira as cores do workshop que assemelham mais às que obteria se usasse filtro polarizador, como usei em minha foto.
Esperar pela passagem de pessoas foi bastante acertado.

Olá Gabriel,
Fiz o WS e como tinha outros assuntos pessoais a tratar só agora é que reparei que faltava a critica, as minhas desculpas. Em relação à questão que me colocou sobre a fonte penso que uma aproximação mais recuada poderia ter permitido um maior angulo de captura sem o incoveniente do topo ficar cortado. Em relação a esta foto ela está excelente, tirada de um sitio alto com uma magnifica panoramica e perspectiva. As cores estão boas e um pouco mais de contraste e de luminosidade poderiam beneficiar para melhor esta boa captura que realizou. O WS que realizei é somente a minha opinião e visão, um estudo pessoal em PP e espero que também goste.

Bom trabalho e Parabéns. Um bom fim desemana para si.

Estoy de acuerdo con Alejandro,
creo que un acercamiento a la escena nos dejaria descurbir mejor los detalles, si bien la vista es interesante, creo que haberla tomado mas a la derecha la hubiese hecho mas interesante pues le falta algo de continuidad a la ciudad a la derecha.

2,558 metros sobre el nivel del mar es bastante alto, los habitantes deben de tener los globulos rojos bien altos. La foto es muy buena con un paisaje precioso, esta muy bien captada con muy buen foco. Me gustan mucho los contrastes de colores.
