Photographer’s Note
This stone tree you can find close to the colorful lagunas and high vulcanos on your way from Uyuni in Bolivia to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. It`s also possible to go the other direction or return.
My tour lasted 3 days/two nights and about every 50 kilometers I thought I am on an other planet.
If you plan to go to northern Chile or south Boliva a tour like this ia a must. You will not repent.
The deep blue sky on the left is ,I think caused by the polarisation filter I used.I took this foto about noon and there was verry bright light.
I am an absolute beginner working with photoshop and I don`t know how to handle this problem.Maybe sombody can give me a helpful advice.

Hallo Leo.
This is a really pleasing image - the composition and colours are great. The rock itself is incredible - almost appears to defy gravity!
Well done

Thanks to the nature for creating such unusual and beatiful forms, and thanks to TE members for showing them!
Taking this shot I'd would move lens a bit to the left.
Take care

Andreas,
Whilst I agree with most of what has been said, I do think that your composition is wrong in this case.
My opion is that you should have moved more to the left to bring the stone tree to the right side of the frame and bring all of the shadow in to the picture. I feel that it is lacking part of the picture as it is missing.
That said though, it is still a great photo to view and that the exposure is spot on.
Thanks for sharing. This has been added to places that I want to go to.

Bonjour Andreas,

Hi Andreas
This is not from the middle of noware. Arbol de Pedra is located it the south lipez. The administrative town attachement is Quetena Grande.
I dont understand but the weather seen to be moisty on your shot. Perhaps dust on the lens ?
You sky is blue on the left due to polarization filter. It can be correcting using Photoshop.
I had made a WS for you.

Hello Leo, this is a very weird rock. You have captured it well with good colour and even better contrast. It stands out well against the light background and blue sky.

Hi Leo,
This is a nice pic of an extraordinary geological feature. You've captured the feature itself really well but the problem you wrote about concerning the sky is, unfortunately, quite apparent. Although it should be possible to correct it using Photoshop, I don't have enough knowledge of it to help you achieve a high quality result. I've attemted to correct different problems with the sky in the past but my results, unfortunately, looked a little artificial.
That aside, your composition is great, the contrast is just right, and the detail in this image is absolutely superb.
Hugs,
Tony
