Hi Gil:

A beautiful picture, no doubt. But is very sad that in 50 years or less we wont have anymore Chacaltaya :P ...

hugs

Welcome TE Gil
The highest slope of the world start at 5300m heigh. The summit is 5400m heigh.
Each year some people dead here because coming here without accimatation is dangerous. Point of viewover the altiplano is great
Cheers
JP

breathtaking colors. the air seems so pure and clean. a perfect composition. great work!

Hallo Gil
You used great the rule of the thirds, it shows exactly that this building is at the edge. Great colors overall, maybe it needed one or two degrees rotation clockwise. I think that you can see it at the red square of the building

Great photo Gil!

The composition is good and the effort just to get up there as well. Sharp and fine colours.

Thanks

Chris

Well done Gil. Balance is as perfect as you could get, and the scene--BREATHTAKING...

Ski house or sky house?
Breathtaking panorama and nice colours with the repetition of blue in the lakes and the railing, plus the red of the house. Would not want to go in the veranda though!
Thanks for sharing even if there are 2 tragic comments to this photo (alejandroguzman and fayeulle)which makes us realise -once again -that all is not well in the best of worlds...
