[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The statue of Cristo de la Concordia sits atop the cerro San Pedro and overlooks the city of Cochabamba. At slightly over 33 meters (108 feet), it is said to be even taller than a similar statue found in Rio de Janeiro.

This photo was taken at sunset and actually shows the back of the statue. Although one can get a lovely view of the city by going to the top of the hill (see this panorama), it is generally recommended not to do so after about 4:30 PM, since after this time criminals are known to cause trouble, particularly for tourists who bring expensive cameras with them.

La estatua de Cristo de la Concordia se ubica en la cumbre del cerro San Pedro, vigilando la ciudad de Cochabamba. Un poco más de 33 metros (108 pies) de altura, se dice que el Cristo de Cochabamba es aun más alto que el famoso Cristo de Rio de Janeiro.

Tomé esta foto al atardecer y en realidad muestra la espalda de la estatua. Aunque se puede aprovechar de una impresionante vista panorámica al subir el cerro, por lo general se recomienda no hacerlo después de las 16:30, pues a veces ocurren robos y otros problemas después de esta hora. Los "cleferos" (como se llama coloquialmente a los criminales) particularmente acosan turistas que traen sus cámaras caras.

Really liked that one. I had the pleasure of visting the Cristo de la Concordia a couple of times, but your unique photo gave me a view I would never have seen.
