Elderly man with hat

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
While sitting up in a grandstand watching the parades in Quillacollo, I spotted this man sitting just inside the little shop below and behind me, quietly sipping chicha and watching the festivities with a few elderly counterparts.
When the others got up and left I saw an opportunity and slid over to the edge of the stands, turned around and quickly snapped this shot without attracting his attention. I cannot decide whether this colored version looks better or one in black and white. In any case, you can see a B+W conversion here. |

Hi Adam, it is a nice shot. a lower PoV would have been good, to get his eyes a little more. a bit sharper as well. otherwise very nice.
Hello Adam,
Great potential in this one, but I am afraid you did not choose the best POV. You should have definitely lower your position in order to get his full face. You would have avoided the overexposition of his shirt and gained much more of your very interesting subject.

Robert

Very nice portrait Adam, the quality of your focus is excellent as well as the lighting and the colours. I agree with Don & Robert that you should have lower your POV to get his eyes.

works pretty well here & quite sharp Adam. I prefer the color version. These 2 red spots definitely add to the picture. Amazing how the skin is rendered. excellent job.
amicalement, michel.
PERFECT portrait Adam !!!
We can see the wrinkles in his face... NICE shot !
